It all started with a youth season ticket to the Constance City Theatre that inspired me to study acting at the Theaterakademie Ulm. After graduation I worked with different city theatre companies, including Essen, Bremen, Meiningen and Ulm, and I had a number of roles on television, such as in the German series Drehkreuz Airport and Lindenstraße.
After I was casted for my first role as a voice actress, I knew I had finally found my calling! I wanted to become a voice actress…and I benefitted greatly from my previous experience as an actress. I took singing and elocution lessons (with Heidi Spohr, among others) and was a member of the WDR and NDR voice ensemble for 10 years. It was there that I received comprehensive coaching and further training – if there was still a hidden dialect, it no longer had a chance! I set up my own recording studio in 1999. I became the radio station voice for various radio stations, I took on the role of Shao in the John Sinclair audiobooks, I was laudatory for the awards ceremony for the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia and read at book readings, for example at the literature marathon at the literature festival lit.cologne.
Over the last 20 years I have gladly lent my voice to many projects. Some of these projects include being the voice of the hotline and telephone information service for the mobile phone company O2 for over 10 years, being one of the station voices for the German TV network SuperRTL, and I am the voice of many well-known labels and companies, some of them being BabyBorn, Lego, Maybelline Jade, L’Oreal, Ariel, Medipharma Cosmetics, Galeria KarstadtKaufhof and Voltaren.
I have experience in all genres: documentaries, corporate and explanatory films, audio dramas, museum guides, games, telephone information services, e-learning, voice overs, dubbing and advertising.
My voice has a very large range and moves with its warm tone effortlessly through every tonality.
I would be very happy to be able to set the tone of your project!
